Amanda Niekamp

A graduate of Emily Carr University from Vancouver Canada, Amanda Niekamp is a painter and illustrator. Her work is inspired by the magical west coast landscape, modernism, and international architectural design. Her style and expressiveness is meant to feel tangible and unguarded, like picking up a crayon or remembering the viewpoint of a space in our earliest years. Raw patterns and colour in industrial forms, architecture, and natural environments kindle her creativity. “I am moved by surrealism in living spaces.”
