‘Subversión’ is a new body of work by Lydia Cecilia which explores the ideas of metamorphosis, evolution and subversion of identity and relationships. This theoretical framework is related to tEarth or Land art ideas developed in past colossal sculptures. Lydia Cecilia has carefully selected materials, mainly flowers and leaves, in the woods nearby, to create an experience that talks about time and change in and for the spectator. The dried flowers in the artworks will evolve through time and celebrate the personal metamorphosis of the viewer.
